Happy Thanksgiving

It is that time of year when we pause to give thanks for all that we have, and I have so much to be thankful for here at Holy Trinity Catholic School. Each day I am in awe of the sense of community, the giving spirit, and the caring heart that is evident throughout our school and community. I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to some very important people in our school, and in my life.

I am forever grateful to my staff. I am privileged to have a group of people who share a commitment in providing the best learning experience and education to our children. The many skills, gifts and talents of my staff are given freely to our children daily. They are truly a blessing!

I am truly appreciative to our incredible parents who contribute so much to the success of our school. Thank you, parents, for the countless hours that you volunteer both here and at home working together to make Holy Trinity such a special place. You are the best!

Last, but certainly not least, I give thanks daily for the best students. I am forever grateful that God sent me to Holy Trinity to experience the joy and love they bring to my life on a daily basis.

As you can see, I have been blessed abundantly here at Holy Trinity Catholic School.

I pray that you and your family are enjoying your time together during our Thanksgiving Break.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Reminder - All Visitors Register with Office

Please remember that ALL visitors to campus must check in at the School's Main Office.  There is a Visitor Sign In Log and Visitor Name Tags there for your convenience.

Please also ONLY enter the building through the Main Doors on Second Street.  This is a security issue for our students - your children.  It is very important that we are aware of who is on our campus at all times, and it helps us to keep all exterior doors secure.

Our Faculty and Staff are aware that all visitors should be wearing a Visitor Name Tag from this point forward and will ask any guests without that tag to go directly to the office.

Thank you for your understanding as we insure a safe and secure environment for our students.

Can You Spare Some Time for HTCS Kids?

Please visit the link below to register as an HTCS Volunteer - we need many volunteers to insure this year's success!  From PTO to Grounds and Maintenance, we have a spot for you!

http://fs2.formsite.com/htcs/form7/index.html

This form will close on Friday, August 24th.  Someone will be in touch with you after that date about our first volunteer meeting.

Have You Ordered Your T-Shirts?

If you've missed the first deadlines for PreK or Spirit T-Shirt orders, don't worry!  We are placing another order next Wednesday, August 22nd!  All orders received through the online store at www.holytrinitycatholiconline.com by noon next Wednesday will be received in time for our first Spirit Shirt Day on Friday, August 31st!

If you ordered Spirit Shirts prior to August 15th, your shirts will arrive early next week.

Please know that all store orders will be sent home in students' backpacks.  You do not need to come in to pick up the orders!

Keep Our Kids Safe, Please!

The Bay St. Louis Police Officers have asked that everyone use the car line lane that corresponds with the direction you wish to turn after dropping off students.

In other words, if you need to turn left onto South Second Street, please use the left lane.  If you need to turn right to cross the railroad tracks, please use the right lane.

HOWEVER - the afternoon lanes will remain the same during PreK and K pickup from 2:45 - 3:00.  PreK and K parents use the left lane at this time.  At 3:00, please begin to divide into the lane that corresponds with your turn onto South Second Street.

Thank you for your cooperation - the officers have had some near misses with cars attempting to criss cross each other.

Also - please remember that the Officers do not want parents talking on their cell phones while in car line.  Many times this causes a distraction as teachers and students are walking between the vehicles.

We all want the safest environment for our students - thank you for your help with this!
